Die Meisterschülerin der HdK Berlin zeigt in ihrer Retrospektive drei Werkreihen aus vier Jahrzehnten. Das Spektrum zieht sich von der Pop Art der 70-er Jahre über Collagen, Malerei und Objektinstallationen. Das Zusammenspiel dieser Techniken existiert nebeneinanderund ist gleichzeitig eine Abfolge des Zeitgeschehens, analysierend, visualisierend und hinterfragend. Es sind keine zufälligen Arrangements sondern es sind Kompositionen im Spannungsfeld des Gegensatzes zwischen filigraner Transparenz und kalter Ästhetik. Packend dargestellt und verdichtet findet sich die Aussage in der Verwendung von Naturmaterialien über die Retrospektive 2019 im Kontrast zur Fotografie, denn die Bilder sind „gedachte Arrangements”. In ihrer Zuordnung sollen sie die Ästhetik mit der formalen Darbietung verbinden und gleichzeitig, nachhaltig eine „Spur im Gehirn” hinterlassen die das Gesehene mit den Eindrücken des Alltags verbindet. Besondere Eindrücke hinterlassen die Collagen „Starfighter” und „Milky Way”. In „Big Brother”von 1982, nimmt ein riesiger Telefonhörer die Abhörskandale der letzten Jahre bereits vorweg. Die Selbstähnlichkeit der Pflanze endet z.B. nicht in einer Frucht sondern in einer Muschel. Die formale Ähnlichkeit zeigt ihre hohe Adaptionsfähigkeit in Form und Wandlung. Wachstum und Zerfall des organischen Komplexes, das Individuelle und sein exponiertes Detail steht für das Gemeinsame als Sinnbild für das Ganze. Mahla 5/2019 |
In her retrospective, the master student of the HdK Berlin is showing three series of works from four decades. The spectrum extends from the Pop Art of the 1970s to collages, paintings and object installations. The interplay of these techniques exists side by side and is at the same time a sequence of current events, analyzing, visualizing and questioning. They are not random arrangements, but compositions in the field of tension between filigree transparency and cold aesthetics. The statement in the use of natural materials about the 2019 retrospective is presented in a gripping and condensed manner in contrast to photography, because the pictures are "imagined arrangements". In their assignment, they should combine aesthetics with formal performance and at the same time leave a lasting “trace in the brain” that connects what has been seen with everyday impressions. The collages “Starfighter” and “Milky Way” leave a special impression. In "Big Brother" from 1982, a huge telephone receiver anticipates the wiretapping scandals of recent years. The self-similarity of the plant ends e.g. not in a fruit but in a shell. The formal similarity shows their high adaptability in form and change. Growth and decay of the organic complex, the individual and its exposed detail stands for the common as a symbol for the whole.

Dans sa rétrospective, l'étudiante en master du HdK Berlin présente trois séries d'œuvres de quatre décennies. Le spectre s'étend du Pop Art des années 1970 aux collages, peintures et installations d'objets. L'interaction de ces techniques existe côte à côte et est en même temps une séquence d'événements actuels, d'analyse, de visualisation et de questionnement. Ce ne sont pas des arrangements aléatoires, mais des compositions dans le domaine de la tension entre transparence filigrane et esthétique froide. La déclaration sur l'utilisation de matériaux naturels à propos de la rétrospective 2019 est présentée de manière saisissante et condensée contrairement à la photographie, car les images sont des "arrangements imaginés". Dans leur mission, ils doivent combiner l'esthétique avec la performance formelle et en même temps laisser une « trace dans le cerveau » durable qui relie ce qui a été vu aux impressions quotidiennes. Les collages « Starfighter » et « Milky Way » laissent une impression particulière. Dans "Big Brother" de 1982, un énorme récepteur téléphonique anticipe les scandales d'écoutes téléphoniques de ces dernières années. L'auto-similitude de la plante se termine par exemple non pas par un fruit mais par une coque. La similitude formelle montre leur grande adaptabilité dans la forme et le changement. La croissance et la décomposition du complexe organique, l'individu et ses détails exposés représentent le commun comme symbole de l'ensemble.
